Spring-break 2023 Mission Trip

We attended 5 schools, 3 neighborhoods, 2 flea markets, 2 hospitals and held 2 massive evangelism events in the Nuevo Laredo Civic Center and in the New Harvesters Auditorium.

The Xtreme Team used their physical strength to talk about the power of God, inviting people to make good decisions, get rid of lies, and surrender their life to Christ.

They 1/2 inch iron bars into a “U” shape using their head or their teeth! While talking about the importance of making good decisions and reminding the people that YOU are responsible for YOUR own life and that YOU should not blame anyone but YOU for the consequences of YOUR decisions. The bent iron bar was in a “U” shape so YOU can remember that is YOUR responsibility, and when YOU make a bad decision, YOU can remember the iron bar, and make a “U” turn to return to  God’s Way.

They also broke bricks and wooden planks to exemplify the power of God to break our ties. In the end, they made the call for salvation, many accepted with tears in their eyes, they aarived to the event expecting a fun show, but they left with a new life; transformed by a loving God. All the examples and props helped the people see their lives reflected and recognize that they needed a savior.

GX International mission is to release aggressive young men and women through evangelism to powerfully proclaim the truth of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.

Along with songs and dances, they called the attention of the young people to come closer to hear the message of salvation. They showed that living for Jesus doesn’t have to be boring. Jesus is interested in everyone knowing him, even children and young people can get closer to Jesus and enjoy having a personal relationship with him.

The Construction Team worked hard to build a 3-bedroom house for a needy family.

God allowed us to enter a hospital and pray for the patients. Hesham Elsayed entered the emergency area and was able to pray for Victor, a man who had suffered a stroke due to high blood pressure. Victor´s right side was paralyzed; he could only move his thumb slightly. Hesham prayed for him, and Victor was able to move his wrist and the fingers of his hand. Then Hesham invited Victor to receive Jesus in his heart and ask him full body restoration. Victor prayed with Hesham and began to be able to move his elbow.

Hesham told Victor that during the day, he should try to raise his hands to praise and thank God for his healing. Victor’s brother and son, who witnessed all of it, wanted to accept Jesus too. While we prayed for them, Victor tried to raise both hands to praise God and each time he could raise them a little more. He was even able to stretch his right leg without anyone’s help. Praise God!

On the flea market, Angela went to pray for a lady and asked her if she had any need we could pray for, the lady told us that her foot was twisted inward, and she couldn’t straighten it and suffered a lot of pain because of it. Angela prayed for her foot, and Immediately the lady felt a hot sensation on her foot and was able to straighten it. She had never felt such heat sensation before and was very surprised to be able to straighten her foot.  Angela began to share about the love of God, but people came to the lady’s stand and she had to work Meanwhile, Angela began to pray for the neighboring stands, 20 minutes later the lady rush out from her stand to look for Angela and asked her to guide her in the salvation prayer. She was very grateful to God; her foot completely straightened, and she could still feel her foot hot.  After accepting Jesus, she asked Angela to pray for the pain in her back, too. 

Angela explained to her that she could ask God to heal her back. “The same God who healed your foot, now lives in your heart, and in the same way that He healed your foot, He could heal any part of your body. Angela prayed again with her, this time asking God to heal her back, and God took away all pain, and she felt a hot sensation all over her spine too. Praise God!

The next day when we were at the flea market, Diana and Ehi went from stand to stand praying for people and sharing the love of God. There was a woman named Daisy whose back was hurt and was in a lot of pain. Diana and Ehi prayed to Daisy and God took away all the pain from her back! She was very grateful to God. Diana invited her to receive Jesus in her heart and gave her a Gospel of John, but Daisy did not want to accept the book; she had a visual disability and could not read. 

Diana and Ehi told her that the same God who healed her back could correct her eyesight and prayed again. Then, they invited her to try to read the Gospel of John, and to everyone’s surprise, Daisy could read the bible verse! God had healed Daisy’s back and sight. We were all moved by the miracle we had just witnessed; we started praising the Lord with tears in our eyes.
