We thank God for His amazing Grace that carries us through each day. We are thankful for what He has done in the past and for His glory, we look forward to what lies ahead!

-Philippians 3:13

VCH held an incredible Mexico mission trip to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico from June 9th through the 16th! A team from Our Finest Hour Church from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, led by Taylor Zirkle joined us as well as a team from Perryton, Texas from the Four Square Church, led by Pastor Cano and VCH Board Member, CJ Skipper, joined us to make a team of 52 excited young people. We also were blessed to have two summer interns, Miles Skipper and Andrew Purvis, along with our grandchildren Clara and Jadon. The teams kicked off an amazing children’s program with 175 children and 75 adults. The children were given the opportunity to dream big about their future and the VCH teams were such an encouragement to them.

All week, these teams were sharing the Good News Gospel, winning souls, and ministering to the children, youth and adults as well as holding school assemblies to promote good values, morals, and ethics through dramas and illustrations by saying, “No” to the bad things and “yes” to the good things.

These were the hottest days this summer in Mexico! Temperatures were 108° to 112°. We were literally cooking on all burners and remembering that HELL is HOTTER!!! “FUEGO – HOLY GUACAMOLE!”

Altogether, these dynamic teams ministered to 8,377 boys, girls, youth and adults and saw 1,281 salvation decisions for Christ! Praise the Lord! There were many awesome testimonies of salvation and healings!

The team also painted the new warehouse where all of our ministry literature will be stored. We split up into three teams and went to parks, plazas and school each day. We gave out 6,600 lbs of beans and rice. The teams ministered in 32 schools all over Nuevo Laredo.

On the afternoon of June 15th we received the news of a tornado that hit Perryton, Texas! The news was devastating and the team with us from Perryton decided to head home that night. Some of the team members had their homes destroyed by the tornado!

Please continue to pray for these members and the city as they are still recovering and working on their homes and businesses.

Miles Skipper from Perryton was with us from June 2nd to the 30th. Andrew Purvis, from Dallas served with us June 2-16. What an amazing difference they made as they poured out their lives for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each one of them left a part of themselves in each person they ministered to. We were so blessed to have had them with us!

At the end of June, VCH finished an awesome EL SALVADOR MISSION TRIP! We ministered to 1,915 children, youth and adults in churches, parks, plazas and public schools and shared the Gospel in public schools through dramas and skits on good values, morals, and ethics, as well as giving out Gospel tracts and Gospels of John to all the students! Yes, you can share the Gospel good news in the schools in El Salvador!  We saw 1,515 salvation decisions for the glory of God! One of those was our bus driver Elias!

The first day, the VCH team arrived one day before the “Pan American” games began. There was a young lady named Lupita, who was a basketball player from the US, staying at the same hotel. David began a conversation with her and could tell something was wrong. She had just lost her grandmother who was like a mother to her. She shared with Donna that she fell far-away from God and wanted to rededicate her life to the Lord. Donna prayed with her and Lupita recommitted her life to Jesus and als asked Jesus to empower her with His Holy Spirit and He did! The VCH team purchased 4,400 tracts, 100 New Testaments, 90 Bibles, 4,000 Gospels of John and 400 Christian bookmarks in preparation for the One Life Church team arrival. The Colorado team arrived ready to give their all for this mission trip, as they had been preparing their dramas for ministry time. The first Saturday, we held a children’s program at a local church in a very poor neighborhood. The pastor had held events in the past but they had never seen this many children respond.

One afternoon in the park, a man named Antonio responded to the altar call. The Lord had drawn him with the message of hope he was hearing. With tears in his eyes, he shared how he was at the park looking for a rope so that he could end his life. When he heard the message of hope we were sharing, Antonio surrendered his life to Jesus! What a divine appointment! Praise God! At another park in the town of “San Rafael”, a woman named Angelica, came forward for prayer. Her arm had been bent at the elbow and she was not able to straighten it out. After prayer, she was able to extend her arm! We also gave out 2,400 pounds of beans and rice at each crusade and ministry site.

Dear VCH Partner,

The VCH INVASION team and myself, traveled to Aguascalientes, Tepic Nayarit and Durango for three pastor’s planning meetings.

Every meeting was very successful. The 45-50 churches in each city are excited about the up coming INVASIONS. I preached a fiery message to the pastors on the five keys to the Great Commision. We are working on the remaining $5,000 for these INVASIONS.

The Invasion team training will be at the Bible school July 17 – 21. Afterwards, we will be in Aguascalientes July 23 – 29. Then we travel to Tepic Nayarit on July 30 and the INVASION will be held July 31 – August 5. The next INVASION will be in Durango, August 6 – 12. Please pray for us for the final details, for safety, protection, and for souls and lives to be changed forever!
With your faithful help and support in June, we ministered to 10,292 people and saw 2,812 salvation decisions for Christ! Glory to God and together we will keep going forward for more souls!

Going Forward with You in the Victorious Harvest,
