John Samples, Kansas City USA

I am married with 2 small children. I am an engineer and I live in Charleston, SC and attend Northwood church. I have always been raised in church and came to a relationship with Christ early on but fell away and began living my life without regard for God’s plan and purpose for my life and other than attending church, really had no real relationship with God for years In 2019 I rededicated my life to God and began pursuing him. Since that time I have deepened my relationship with God and am working to live in his purpose every day including discipling those people he brings into my life.

I previously joined VCH on medical mission in 2021 and the heart of this organization resonates with me and I aspire to serve God with the same fervor as the students and leaders in this organization. The intense authenticity, paired with the anointing and God-breathed mission are inspiring and I love being a small part of accomplishing God’s mission here. I love the mission, authenticity and passion of this organization, not just because it is successful or fun (because it is) but because it is anointed, humble and singularly focused on reaching the lost for the kingdom of God.

” What impacted me the most on the VCH Mission Trip was Seeing people come to the Lord and seeing the family for which we built the house ”

“God teach me during this Mission Trip That I need to see myself the way God sees me and created me and knows that He has empowered me to reach the lost and to live his mission from him. I have to stop believing the lies of the enemy and start living as I am, supernatural.

God is blessing Nuevo Laredo and it is clear why; this organization is doing his work of him in humility and seeking first His kingdom” John said.

I have seen first hand the impact of this ministry on multiple occasions. I am often brought to tears when I watch God move in services and events big and small. As I watch the staff, the students, the regional ministry partners, and visitors minister to the poor, the hungry and the sick, I am struck by the passion and love– the heart of Christ and the way God uses this ministry to reach his people and the way people respond to God’s call during these events. I believe you can rest assured that giving to this organization is truly giving to God’s work and the gift will never return void. In fact, God’s divine multiplication is clear in the reaping of this ministry.” Jonh said.
