We just held our 108th INVASION in Mexico City in the county of NEZAHUALCOYOTL which means, “Hungry Coyote” in Nahuatl. We had 49 churches from this area join together to bring the “Good News” of the resurrected Savior to this troubled place. This area is known for high crime and violence, but where sin is, there that much more grace abounds! (Romans 5:20)
After three days of training in “soul-winning”, these church members were empowered, equipped and sent out, as Jesus sent out the 72. And Just as the disciples returned with glorious reports about the power of God that they themselves witnessed, these trained soldiers of the cross from NEZAHUALCOYOTL, returned Saturday and shared how the power of God was with them to be His witnesses!
The church teams ministered to 6,459 people in 2 1/2 days and saw 3,309 decisions for the glory of God! Behind each number is a story and behind each story is a person! God divinely placed His messengers in just the right place at just the right time. There were many people who received healing in their bodies as the Church of Jesus Christ had stepped out of her four walls and made contact with a hurting world.
One Pastor, Esteban Alonzo, was NOT interested in our VCH team members helping him and his church team during the outreaches. Like many other pastors, he already had his Easter week services planned. But after Mexico Pastor Hector Rodas shared about what great blessing the VCH Invasión has been for him during the SEVEN years that he has been involved with It, Esteban decided to invite the VCH team to join his church oufreach.
Pastor Esteban was so excited and thoroughly blessed after the invasion fam personally trained his church members and helped to hold the evangelism outreaches. He shared with Pastor Max, You guys really helped me realize how awesome it is to go out on the streets to win souls for the kingdom of God! We’re going to be going out once or twice a month for sure!” There were many testimonies of healings; deliverances, salvations and the newly equipped church members testified of the power of the Holy Spirit, as what they experienced has changed their lives forever!
Keren, a graduate of the IHI, ministered freedom to a young girl named Neyda. She had been involved in the occult and as a result was tormented every since. Neyda wore an “amulet” around her neck that represented her alliance with the devil. Keren broke it’s power over Neyda as she repented of her involvement in the occult and was set free!
A team member named Fany, shared how the Lord revealed to her there would be a person in a wheel chair. Later that day at a ministry site, there was a young woman in a wheelchair and Fany asked if she could pray for her. She agreed for prayer and then she began to feel tremendous heat in her knees and feet. The team took her by the arms and she began to take small steps, Something she had not be able to do before!
