I have always wanted to go on a medical mission trip as a nurse, and God called me to this trip. I kept saying, ‘God is preparing me for something, but I don’t know what it is.’ Little did I know, my life was about to change, and boy, did it change! The Medical Mission Trip was truly wonderful and life-changing. I had the privilege of not only helping others but also witnessing God’s miracles with my own eyes. I can’t wait to return next year and see where else God wants and needs me. I was able to witness many miracles and healings from pain. A few examples include: a man who had been unable to see, but regained his sight; a woman who had difficulty hearing, who was able to hear again and even hold a conversation with Donna; a woman who had suffered a stroke, who was able to feel her right side and walk with little assistance; and a woman who had abdominal pain, and felt that pain leave her body.
God taught me to trust Him—trust Him with my whole heart—and to trust that He has the most perfect plan for me. VCH is doing an incredible work! God truly has great plans, and they are touching many lives. I am blessed to have witnessed that, and I pray I continue to be a part of it. God has transformed so many lives! Thank you, David and Donna, for your dedication and service. To all the VCH partners, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for everything, and thank you for trusting God. God has called each one of you for a reason, and that’s the truth. Psalms 46:10 says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God of all nations.’ That’s what we do: be still and listen to His word, allowing Him to guide us. And that’s exactly what this group does—they obey their Father with all their hearts. Thank you all for having such a huge impact on my life, and on everyone you touch, speak to, pray for, and so much more
