I’ve gone on multiple mission trips but this year was different. As I was praying and preparing for this year’s trip I asked God to use me to witness to the people He brings to the ministry sites. I was also believing God for answers to a situation at my daughter’s school. At one of the colonial’s there were a lot of kids that raised their hands for prayer. There was a boy about 9/10 years old that recently lost his older brother and the kids at school were bullying him. Calling him a forgotten child. He had been cutting himself because of the bullying. I know God brought us both there so He could use me to pray for him. As I was praying over him God spoke to me and said everything I prayed over this boy I should pray the same thing over my daughter. She was being bullied at school. God answered my prayers and used me to show God’s love to this little boy.
When we were ministering in a colonia a woman asked us to pray for diabetes so we did. We noticed she was messing with her eye so we prayed for her eye. She asked us to pray a second time and as we did she started looking off into the distance. She had just received salvation and had a Bible in her hands. She turned it over and said she could see the words. Her vision was restored and she was so happy to be able to see and read the Bible.
