Who are we?

Victorious Christian Harvesters (VCH) is a Latin American ministry with a vision of TEN MILLION BIBLES – TEN MILLION SOULS. Our focus is on winning the lost and training the body of Christ to enter into the harvest fields to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ world-wide. VCH celebrated its 30th anniversary. For the first 25 years our vision was “One Million Bibles for One Million Souls”, but that goal was miraculously reached in July of 2016!

That being the battle cry for 25 years the Blanchard’s began to ask the Lord what was next. David was given a gold ring by his staff for completing the initial vision. Some months later, while David was in a worship service with his hands lifted, the Lord showed David a vision. He saw all of his fingers with a gold ring on each finger! He knew what the Lord was asking, he was to go after another NINE Million Souls.

With evangelism as the central focus of VCH, the Blanchard’s continue to multiply laborers in preparation for the harvest fields through the International Harvesters Institute which opened in 2001.

What do we do?

Victorious Christian Harvesters has a five-fold strategy: Training soul winners; Equipping Nationals; Gospel Distribution; Church Planting; Mission Trips

The Lord spoke to David in 1996 that he was to “raise up nationals to destroy the works of the devil.” Then God gave him the name “International Harvesters Institute.” The Bible School opened in September of 2001. The IHI is a two-year evangelistic training institute with the goal of raising up nationals for effective ministry. The making of disciples is part of the great commission of the Lord Jesus Christ. When the Blanchard’s opened the doors of The International Harvesters Institute (IHI), located in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, true discipleship began.

The preparation that the students receive includes 1,100 hours of biblical courses and international guest speakers. The students of the IHI put their training into weekly practice in church and local ministry. They also go on mission trips and participate in VCH INVASIONS (City-wide evangelistic training outreaches). This evangelistic, ministerial training center is in its 18th year of training future Latins for the harvest fields of the world. The IHI has currently four graduates who are serving in other countries, one in the Dominican Republic and 3 in Asia.

Why do we do what we do?

Multitudes are in the valley of decision between life and death, who will tell them before it is too late? Someone must be sent and we count it a privilege to be the vessel that God is using to train Fishers of Men to send them into the harvest fields. We train and send them out with the battle cry “All saved – none perish”. 1 Timothy 2:3-4 says, ^“This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” 2 Peter 3:9 says” The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

What impact have we had?

We have hosted hundreds of Mission teams that have travelled all over Mexico and El Salvador putting their Christian commitment into action. We have trained hundreds of Pastors in Cuba with amazing results! Since we began the International Harvesters Institute in 2001, we have impacted Mexico, El Salvador, and Cuba in even greater ways.

In areas where no local church exists, VCH strives to build a house of worship for new believers. David Blanchard has personally been a part of building over 55 churches. In endeavoring to fulfill the vision, Victorious Christian Harvesters is committed to see each soul that receives Christ, is nurtured and grows as a new believer. VCH directs every person that accepts the gospel message to a healthy local church in their city, working with many churches throughout Mexico, Cuba, and El Salvador. VCH has helped to plant two churches in El Salvador, 60 in Mexico, and is associated with 30 more in Mexico City. In Cuba, VCH has over 70 churches and is affiliated with an additional 80 pastors!

In the year 2010, VCH began holding mass city-wide evangelistic training seminars and outreaches called “INVASIONS.” We begin with the local Pastoral Alliances where we present the vision for evangelizing their city for Christ. When we arrive in their city after much preparation we hold our Evangelism Training Seminars. We train for three days on how to win souls effectively, which includes evening sessions where we teach on having a heart for the lost. During the second evening session, we teach on the power of the Gospel through the Holy Spirit. The third evening, we commission them to go out and do the works of JESUS. The unity among the believers that the INVASIONS produce is incredibly powerful.

So far from 2010 to 2024, VCH through INVASIONS has trained 45,522 believers from 5,915 different churches on how to share their faith. VCH has raised up 4,044 Church Evangelism Teams who are still going out from their church to win the lost.

Through the VCH five-fold strategy and the help of our partners, we were able to share the Good news of Jesus Christ and 1,436,846 made salvation decisions for Jesus Christ!! We gave out 1,824,123 Bibles, New testaments & Gospels of John.

How did we get started?

David Blanchard was the director for Youth For Christ in Emporia, Kansas where he met his wife Donna. They have been married for 37 years and they have three grown children. Their oldest daughter, Rebecca is the founder of “Wings International” and has been living in Asia for the past ten years. Their second daughter, Christine and her husband Sethry, are pastors in Loveland, Colorado and they have three children. Their son, Jon is a Welding Engineer in Houston.

In Youth For Christ, David and Donna hosted mission trips. The cost of an oversea trip was more than the average youth could afford. They began to look for ways to get more youth onto the mission field where God could awaken a call. They contacted a ministry called Latin America Bible Church Mission in Mexico whom they later came to work with as missionaries. The cost for each teenager to go on a mission trip was dramatically reduced and more youth joined them on life changing mission trips south of the border.

The Blanchard’s were sent out of their local church of Victory Fellowship of Emporia, Kansas in 1986. They worked with LABCM for 6 years, where the Lord taught and prepared them for many things.

David Blanchard received a vision from the Lord in 1990 while praying. He saw the entire country of Mexico covered with ocean waves. When the waves went away they left Bibles all over the country. The Lord spoke to him to get His Word out. He asked the Lord, “How many Bibles?” The Lord replied, “How many souls do you want to be responsible for?” He replied, “I’m really not anybody but I would like to see ONE MILLION SOULS come into your Kingdom.” The Lord responded, “Then get ONE MILLION BIBLES OUT and win ONE MILLION SOULS.”

The Lord confirmed the time had come for the Blanchard’s to step out. David shared the vision with the leader of LABCM and they both agreed it was time for this new chapter to begin.

David and Donna Blanchard founded Victorious Christian Harvesters in April, 1992 in their garage with their three small children and a retired plumber and his wife. The Blanchard’s pursued the vision of One Million Bibles/One Million Souls reached their goal in July of 2016.

The Vision that Started VCH

David Blanchard, president and founder of Victorious Christian Harvesters (VCH), received a vision from the Lord during a prayer meeting in 1990. In this vision, he saw the country of Mexico covered with ocean waves. As the waves receded, they left behind large black Bibles with gold crosses on them. Then, God spoke to him, saying, “Get My Word out, for it will not return to Me empty or void without accomplishing what I’ve sent it forth to do.”

David responded, “Lord, how many Bibles Do You want me to get out?”God answered with a question of His own: “How many souls do you want to see saved?”
David’s heart burned with a desire to see all of Mexico come to know Jesus. But realizing the magnitude of the task, he humbly replied, “I’m not Dr. Billy Graham or Dr. T.L. Osborn—I’m just me. But I want to see a million souls come to know You.”
God then commissioned him with a divine mandate: “Then get One Million Bibles for One Million Souls.”
And so, the vision of Victorious Christian Harvesters was born—One Million Bibles, One Million Souls.
For over two decades, VCH has passionately pursued this vision, training and equipping believers through the International Harvesters Institute and sending out laborers into the harvest fields. Through God’s faithfulness and the vital support of our partners, this vision became a reality in August 2016. More than one million souls have come to know Jesus Christ through VCH’s evangelistic efforts, and over one million Bibles, New Testaments, and Gospel booklets have been distributed to new believers and national church evangelism teams actively sharing the Gospel.
But the mission does not stop here. We continue to proclaim the Gospel, equip national believers, and train new harvesters so that the Kingdom of Heaven is even more firmly established here on Earth. All for the glory of God!.

Our Beliefs

This ministry accepts the scriptures as the revealed will of God, the all sufficient rule of faith and practice, and for the purpose of maintaining general unity, adopts these statements of fundamental Truths and Doctrine.

The Scriptures Inspired

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason. (2 Tim 3:15-17; 1 Pet. 1:23-25; Heb 4:12)

The ONE True Godhead

The Triune Godhead is comprised of three separate and distinct personalities – The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit – who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one entity. Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with The Father and The Holy Spirit.

Man, His Fall and Redemption

Man was created good and upright, for God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our Likeness.” But man, by voluntary transgression, fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ the Son of God. (Gen 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Rom 5:12-21)

The Salvation of Man

Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. On the cross Jesus Christ became sin and sickness, providing both salvation and divine healing for all mankind (1 Pet 2:24). We are justified freely by His Grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. For by grace we are saved through faith. ” The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart-that is, the Word of faith which we are preaching; if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.” (Rom 3:24; Eph 2:8; Rom 10:8-10)
The evidences of Salvation. The inward evidence to the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness. ”And this is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.” (1John 3:23)
Faith and Works. Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ not by human works; however, our works will determine the rewards in eternity. (Rom 10:9-10; Eph 2:8-9; Tit 3:5-7; Rom 14:20-21; 2Cor 5:10)

Baptism in Water

The ordinance of baptism as a symbolic burial with Christ should be observed as commanded in the Scriptures by all who have truly repented and in their hearts have truly believed on Christ as Savior and Lord. In so doing, they declare to the world that they have died with Jesus and that they have also been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. (Matt. 28:19; Acts 10:47, 48; Romans 6:4).

The Lord’s Supper

“And when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, ‘This is my body which is broken for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.’” Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. (1Cor 11:24,25,28)

The Promise of the Father

All believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect and earnestly seek, the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Ghost and Fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all the early Christian church. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts, and their uses in the work of the ministry. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 1Cor. 12:1-31)

The Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit

The full consummation of the baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by a subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public witness, testimony and service. There may also be several other evidences of the baptism – one of which is speaking with other languages/tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:2,6; 1:8).

The Lake of Fire

Those who have not accepted the redemptive work of Jesus Christ will suffer eternal separation from the Godhead. The devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, and anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life, shall be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. This is the second death, the lake of fire. (Rev 19:20; 20:10-15)

The Millennial Reign of Jesus

Return of our Lord Jesus with His Saints from Heaven to rule and reign for one thousands years on earth as the scriptures promised. (Rom 11:25-27; 2Thes 1:7; Rev 19:11-16; 20:1-7) After this, there shall be a new heaven and a new earth. (Rev 21)
